In the recent years “less is more” has become the hottest trend.

People prefer fashion items that are

simple,

stylish,

and elegant

all at the same time.

Today we are here to talk about

one of the brands that has all these elements in their products- “Daniel Wellington” or for short “DW”.

There is always a story behind a brand, and DW is no exception.

It was a coincidental meeting halfway around the world

that sparked the idea for Daniel Wellington.

On this trip, founder Filip Tysander met an intriguing British gentleman

with impeccable yet unpretentious style.

The man had a particular fondness for

wearing his vintage watches on old, weathered NATO straps.

His name? Daniel Wellington.

Inspired by his new acquaintance’s timeless style,

Filip decided to create his own line of watches.

Minimalistic and refined, the classic design

with interchangeable straps truly has wide-ranging appeal.

Now a few years later,

this design is still an important part of what makes Daniel Wellington so special.

Filo’s P.O.V:

The first time that I encountered this watch is

when I was browsing through INSTAGRAM feeds,

once I saw it, I fell in love with it.

What’s so special about DW watches is that it is really simple and liberal,

and the rims of the watch is rose gold,

what’s more appealing is that customers can change their watch straps

with ease, based on their mood and needs.

If you are going for a casual look,

use the iconic NATO strap;

if you are going for the classic look,

use the leather strap;

and if you want to try out the cold and elegant look,

use the metallic mesh strap.

For someone who likes to try out new things like me,

this kind of design is really suitable for me.

Up to now, I have used the NATO strap and the leather strap.

I personally prefer the leather strap

because it can bring out a person’s class.

The leather strap may look simple and ordinary,

but it doesn’t lack the feeling of prudence.

(DW offers small heart decorations for your watch on special occasions)

This is the strap that is suitable for both casual and formal.

As for the NATO strap, I usually wear it when I am going for a sporty look.

My favorite sporty look is plain t-shirt, joggers, and sneakers,

if I wear the DW watch with the NATO strap,

the overall with be more stylish.

DW watches are really light and slim,

and one of the most recognizable traits of DW watches

is that they don’t have the second hand,

so I was really surprised when I first purchased it.

(There are two colors that you can choose from: Black and White)

Recently DW has launched two new straps,

one is an elegant white and the other is a reddish brown leather strap,

if you are interested don’t hesitate to purchase!

We highly recommend Daniel Wellington to you.
